The International Journal of Transportation Engineering , is published quarterly and is an open access and peer reviewed journal focusing on the issues of Transportation Engineering and publishes research papers based on quantitative methods for analysis, design and application of transportation systems in all modes of transportation (road, rail, air and marine), including but not limited to : - Transportation infrastructures (including design, analysis, maintenance materials and construction of pavements, bridges, tunnels, ports, harbors , pipelines, etc…) - Innovative design methods and practice - Testing and laboratorial studies - Advances in analytical and computational techniques in transportation - Transportation vehicles and equipment - Transportation terminals - Traffic safety - Transportation demand and system management - Transportation planning and technology - Transportation models - Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) - Transportation networks - Multi modal transportation   - Transportation economics and land use - Transportation economics and policy - Financing and asset management - Transportation project management - Sustainable transportation - Pedestrians and cyclists transportation - Traffic engineering
