Aims & Scope
This journal is a scientific publication with open access, (double-blind peer review), published by the University of Allameh Tabataba'i, a leading university in the field of tourism, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance since 2003 in Iran. This journal successfully obtained scientific-research permission from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2010. Also, according to the regulations of the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, it obtained a scientific rank (A) in 2023. This journal aims to provide a space for interaction and exchange of ideas among experts and researchers, focusing on topics such as tourism management and planning, tourism geography, tourism economics, tourism sociology, communication and behavior, marketing and electronic tourism, entrepreneurship and tourism businesses, events, destination management, impact management, sustainable and responsible tourism, participation and empowerment of local communities, hotel management and the hospitality industry, with the aim of promoting new theoretical knowledge and successful global experiences in this field. Research articles (conceptual and applied) are published electronically in Persian with an extended English abstract. To facilitate identification and search, each article has its own unique identifier (doi). In order to comply with publishing ethics, this journal follows the rules of the 'Committee on Publication Ethics' (COPE) and adheres to the executive regulations of the law on preventing and combating fraud in scientific works. The journal also uses the 'Samim Noor' similarity detection system to check for plagiarism, and articles with a similarity rate above 15% are not accepted. The issuance of a certificate of acceptance and publication of an article is exclusively subject to the author's request and receipt of an acceptance letter stamped and signed by the editor-in-chief of the journal. The recipient of the certificate is obliged to inquire from this journal to prove its authenticity.
