Aims & Scope

The journal prioritizes research with a strong empirical foundation, particularly employing quantitative analysis using econometric and mathematical approaches, while also welcoming rigorous qualitative research and theoretical contributions that align with its topical scope. This scope covers established fields of economics including microeconomics, macroeconomics, public economics, monetary economics, environmental and resource economics, economics of human resources, regional and urban economics, industrial economics, international economics (trade and finance), development economics, and sustainable development, with a particular interest in contributions relevant to development issues. Research incorporating interdisciplinary perspectives relevant to economic development is especially encouraged.
