Aims & Scope

Jurnal Agro Industri Perkebunan is published by Estate Crop Department (Jurusan Budidaya Tanaman Perkebunan), Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Jurnal Agro Industri Perkebunan contains original articles of research, discovery, and ideas of various fields of science, especially in the field related to the estate crop from researchers, lecturers, students, and related parties. The scope of Jurnal Agro Industri Perkebunan are: estate crop production, soil-estate crop science, pest or diseases-estate crop science, estate crop agribusiness, estate crop processing, and estate management. The list of plantation commodities refers to the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 141/KPTS/HK.150/M/2/2019, including oil palm, rubber, sugarcane, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, pepper, tea, tobacco, sugar palm, coconut, nutmeg, clove, cotton, stevia, and citronella. While morphological observations remain important, authors are encouraged to complement them with physiological or functional measurements to strengthen the scientific contribution and interpretation of plant growth responses. Studies on plant growth are expected to go beyond conventional observational approaches. Manuscripts focusing solely on morphological measurements may be considered insufficient unless supported by robust physiological, biochemical, or functional analyses. Authors are strongly encouraged to integrate physiological indicators (e.g., photosynthetic performance, water status, or stress-related responses) to provide a more comprehensive understanding of plant growth dynamics. The following is a code of ethics for Jurnal Agro Industri Perkebunan authors, editors, and reviewers who are adapted from the Publications Ethics Committee (COPE). This ethic maintains the integrity, accountability and scientific principles in the field of research and publications which must be adhered to.
