Journal of Iberian Women Writers/Revista de Escritoras Ibericas
Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED) · Spain · Est. 2013
Aims & Scope
The Revista de escritoras ibéricas (Journal of Iberian Women Writers) is dedicated to the study of women writers from the Iberian Peninsula of any era and under any rigorous methodological approach, whether from a historical perspective or from an epistemological interest, with attention to all genres, Peninsular languages, and types of texts. The journal publishes articles of up to 25 pages (10,000 words) and reviews, always on publications within the proposed field of study. Articles will be published in any of the official languages of the Peninsula and in English, subject to a prior evaluation system (peer review), which is now essential to guarantee the scientific quality criteria required in the field. This journal provides visibility and promotes the exchange of rigorous scientific proposals within the field of gender literary studies, with attention to languages and cultures that coexist in close contact but are often ignored. The publication is free for those who submit their work and for those who wish to read it. The entire process of creation and dissemination is electronic, with the same quality requirements as paper publications, but it multiplies its reading and dissemination impact exponentially through free and immediate dissemination of its content and shortens waiting times for publication. The journal meets all national and international quality requirements for a publication of maximum impact, both in terms of scientific or editorial committees and the selection process for contributions, information, and editing of each issue. Readers can download, reproduce, distribute, print, search, and link to its articles without prior authorization from the journal editors or the authors of the texts, always with due consideration to citation and the use of scientific copyright.
