Aims & Scope
The Journal of Earth System Science (JESS) is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes peer-reviewed research papers covering a wide range of subjects related to the geosphere (surface and deep Earth), the atmosphere, the hydrosphere (including cryosphere), the biosphere and their interactions over time as well as planetary and space sciences. This journal was part of the Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences until 2005 and is affiliated with the Indian Academy of Sciences. Journal of Earth System Science publishes studies that are fundamental or applied, contain new data, observations, and models, which have broad international interest. Studies dealing with significant analytical advances are also considered. Journal of Earth System Science is also open for proposals on Special Thematic Issues will also go through the normal process of reviewing.
