Aims & Scope

The “Criminological studies” is a peer-reviewed diamond open access periodical journal devoted to analysing the broad field of criminology and criminal justice issues focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. It publishes research that is relevant to other world countries facing similar social changes and challenges in the XXI st century. The journal aims to promote an interdisciplinary approach and is open for scholars analysing criminological issues in the fields of criminology, criminal law, sociology, crime prevention, psychology, history, and other closely related disciplines. The “Criminological studies” welcomes submissions from a variety of perspectives: empirical, analytical, theoretical, and methodological standpoints. The journal also accepts reviews and critical discussions of monographs and other scientific publications, presentations of recent scientific events, thus providing an opportunity to share the latest scientific work results with the growing criminological community.
