Aims & Scope
TheAndrews University Seminary Student Journal(ISSN 2376-063X, 2376-0621) is an online, open access journal that is led, edited, and reviewed by a team of doctoral students and faculty members of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. It presents peer-reviewed articles in the area of Systematic Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, Hebrew Bible, Jewish Studies, New Testament, Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Church History, Applied Theology, Mission, and Religious Education. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate scholarly contributions of graduate students. The Journal allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and permits readers to use them, free of charge, for any other lawful purpose. No fees ($0.00) are charged to authors, users, and readers. This periodical is indexed in theDirectory of Open Access Journals(DOAJ). The DOAJ contains ca. 15,000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. It has member institutions on almost every continent. The periodical is also indexed in theSeventh-day Adventist Periodical Index(SDAPI). The SDAPI provides citation indexing to over 40 past and present Seventh-day Adventist journals and magazines. It is sponsored by theAssociation of Seventh-day Adventist Librarians. The articles are further indexed and accessible inGoogle Scholar,Microsoft Academic, andSemantic Scholar.
