The Journal of Sustainable Water in the Built Environment focuses on the management and treatment of urban stormwater runoff. Research investigates the performance and design of various green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and conventional stormwater control measures (SCMs), including infiltration trenches, permeable pavements, bioretention cells, sand filters, bioswales, and underground systems. Studies also examine the removal of pollutants such as microplastics, phosphorus, and emerging contaminants like PFAS, as well as the impact of urban development and climate change on water resources and infrastructure.
