Aims & Scope

JIIMC is a multi-disciplinary medical journal that publishes scientific research articles related to biomedical sciences. JIIMC publishes research papers contributed in the form of original articles, case reports, review articles, articles on medical education, commentaries, short communication, editorials and letters to the editor covering core medical education subjects, basic medical sciences and emerging community problems. The journal covers a wide range of medical fields including basic medical sciences, subspecialities of clinical medical & dental sciences, allied health sciences, public health and quantitative as well as qualitative research related to the medical education.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
