Aims & Scope

The journal aims to highlight and popularize scientific achievements in the field of Ukrainian philology, psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic, linguistic, language, cognitive-pragmatic, stylistic, structural features of language and speech, discourse, conceptology and communicative suggestion, research of classical and modern linguistics directions, as well as scientific achievements of Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University in the field of theoretical and applied Ukrainian linguistics. The journal is intended for candidates of philological sciences (doctors of philosophy) and doctors of philological sciences, as well as doctoral students and higher education students who work in various areas of modern linguistics and conduct research that has an interdisciplinary character with a priority of the linguistic component. Traditional areas of articles presented in the collection "Notes on Ukrainian Linguistics" are phonetics, phonology and history of the Ukrainian language, lexicology, word formation, functional grammar, stylistics, text linguistics, dialectology, Slavic and Germanic languages. Articles on modern problems of communicative and cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, suggestive linguistics, neuro-linguistic programming, sociolinguistics, discourseology are also widely represented. The publication contains interdisciplinary research conducted at the intersection of linguistics and psychology, suggestology, theory and practice of social communication, medicine, altered states of consciousness, etc.
