Studia Hegeliana is the organ of expression of the Spanish Society of Hegel Studies, an academic association founded in 1996 with the aim of promoting the study of Hegel's philosophy, its place within the context of German idealism and the history of thought, and its relationship with philosophical and cultural movements up to the present. This is the same objective of the journal, and they are also the themes of the articles it publishes. Its target audience is eminently specialists in idealist philosophy.
