Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Iuridica
Lodz University Press · Poland · Est. 1980
Aims & Scope
The thematic scope of Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Iuridica covers issues falling into the discipline of “legal sciences”. Within it, scientific articles and other forms of general reflection and considerations on law and its institutions are published. Individual volumes of Folia Iuridica are usually thematic in nature: all or most of the published articles are concentrated around one of – or a group of – related research problems, or research results coming from the use of the same methodology. The published scientific texts include subject matters in the field of jurisprudence or theory of law analysed from the perspective of not only lawyers, but also philosophers, logicians, sociologists, psychologists, and economists. Thus, the Journal assumes an interdisciplinary character and becomes a forum for scientific debate aimed at disseminating science in the spirit of its social responsibility.
