Aims & Scope
Folia Geographica is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal for theory, research and practice of Human Geography and related disciplines. The main aim of the journal is to present innovative ideas and approaches to human geography research, teaching, and learning. Papers focusing on any place or region in the world are welcomed. Folia Geographica is open also for contributions from related disciplines – especially Demography, Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Management, Cultural Studies and Urban Studies. The journal welcomes original contributions in human geography, regional geography, political geography, geographic information science, geographical thought and geographical education. It is opened to papers in related scientific disciplines such as: cultural studies, spatial economics, spatial sociology, demography, cartography, urban and regional planning, tourism and place marketing, geopolitics and international relations, environmental science, etc. Papers are welcomed on any theme involving the application of geographical theory and methodology in the resolution of human, societal and also problems connected with natural-humans interrelations. Moreover, the contents of journal may include review articles, research notes, and invited essays.
