Aims & Scope
Spiritual Psychology and Counseling (SPC) is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advancing high-quality scholarship at the intersection of spirituality, psychological processes, counseling, and psychotherapy. The journal publishes theoretically grounded, conceptually robust, and methodologically rigorous contributions that make a substantive contribution to the development of knowledge in the field. The scope of SPC encompasses empirical, theoretical, and practice-informed studies on spiritual constructs, spiritually oriented counseling and psychotherapy interventions, and counseling and psychotherapy theories, models, and conceptualizations related to spirituality. The journal also welcomes research on meaning-making, coping, well-being, spiritual development, and psychological inquiry into spiritual traditions across diverse cultural contexts, provided that such contributions demonstrate clear relevance to psychological and counseling scholarship. SPC aims to foster international and interdisciplinary scientific dialogue, strengthen the relationship between research, theory, and practice, and support the continuing development of spiritual psychology and counseling as a distinct and evolving field of inquiry. The journal seeks original and analytically strong contributions with clear scholarly significance and applied relevance. SPC publishes original empirical studies, theoretical articles, case-based contributions, and historical analyses. All submissions undergo rigorous peer review and are published in English.
