Aims & Scope

Strategos is a scientific journal of the University of Defence and Security “Dr. Franjo Tuđman” and the Croatian Military Academy „Dr. Franjo Tuđman“ founded with the aim of publishing primarily works from the scientific field of security and defense science, and the fields of political science and history, with an emphasis on branches and thematic areas of international relations, geopolitics and national security, and military history. Strategos publishes original scientific papers, review papers, preliminary communications, professional papers, and book reviews that cover a wide range of scientific research related to the above-mentioned scientific fields, branches, and thematic areas. We accept articles that discuss theoretical issues, works focused on empirical research, as well as those that address innovative methodological approaches. The journal is primarily intended for strategic analysts, security and military experts, scientists engaged in research related to security, defense, and military issues, and all those who show scientific interest in the above-mentioned thematic areas.
