Aims & Scope

The Jurnal Ilmu Kelautan SPERMONDE is a peer reviewed international journal publishing high quality articles dedicated to all aspects of Marine Science. The Journal considers only manuscripts that have not been published (or submitted simultaneously), at any language, elsewhere. Contributions are in English. The aims of this journal is to provide a venue for academicians, researchers and practitioners for publishing the original research articles or review articles in the field of Marine Science. The scope of the articles published in this journal deal with a broad range of topics include but not limited to: Physical Oceanography (theory, application and modelling). Chemical Oceanography (chemical aspects of the marine environment). Development and life cycles of marine organisms. Ecology of marine populations and communities. Physiology of marine organisms. Conservation and rehabilitation of marine ecosystems. Marine microbiology including invertebrate microbiology, plant microbiology, aquatic microbiology, bioremediation and microbial ecology. Marine Biogeochemistry of natural and anthropogenic substances. Marine Pollution (biochemical, physiological and ecological consequences to the organisms and ecosystems). Marine Ecotoxicology (the effects of toxic chemicals on populations, communities and ecosystems). Marine Remote Sensing (theory, science, technology and application). Coastal Geomorphology (coastal and marine geomorphological processes, geomorphological modelling)
