Molecular Catalysis publishes original contributions examining the molecular and atomic aspects of catalytic activation and reaction mechanisms. The journal covers heterogeneous catalysis including immobilized molecular catalysts, and homogeneous catalysis including organocatalysis, organometallic catalysis, and biocatalysis. It also includes photo- and electrochemistry and theoretical aspects of catalysis analyzed by computational methods, focusing on chemical synthesis for pharmaceutical building blocks, fine chemicals, commodity chemicals, or bulk chemicals.
