Aims & Scope
1. Serve as a hub for knowledge creation in Amish and plain Anabaptist studies through the publishing of fresh, insightful, and thought-provoking research. 3. Provide a focal point for Amish and plain Anabaptist studies while supporting subject-area research in other outlets through critical reviews. 4. Support strong literature reviews that weigh the contributions of relevant past research. (a) theoretical, applied, empirical, humanities-based, and various other knowledge-making approaches (b) about the Amish, Swiss American / Swiss Canadian Mennonites, Low German ("Russian") Mennonites, German Baptists, Apostolic Christians/Nazarenes (Froehlich churches), Hutterites, and the Bruderhof. We also accept manuscripts about related groups from a comparative perspective and when the connection to plain Anabaptist research is clear.
