Aims & Scope
Jurnal Kepariwisataan: Destinasi, Hospitalitas dan Perjalanan (JK) focuses on empirical and theoretical studies in hospitality and tourism, including but not limited to the following areas: Destination planning, development, governance, and management Sustainable tourism, responsible tourism, and resilience in tourism destinations Community-based tourism, village tourism (desa wisata), and rural tourism development Cultural heritage tourism, creative tourism, and cultural sustainability Tourism policy, regulation, and institutional analysis at local, national, and international levels Hospitality management, including hotel, resort, and accommodation studies Restaurant, food service, and beverage management Tourism and hospitality marketing, branding, and promotional strategies Digital transformation in tourism and hospitality, including e-tourism, social media, and marketing communication Tourist behavior, experience, satisfaction, loyalty, and decision-making processes Tourism product development, innovation, and experience design Financial management, investment feasibility, and business performance analysis in hospitality and tourism enterprises Human resource management, service quality, and organizational behavior in hospitality and tourism Socio-cultural, economic, and environmental impacts of tourism development Strategic and operational management of hospitality and tourism organizations Event tourism, special interest tourism, and urban tourism studies Technology adoption, information systems, and smart tourism applications Future trends, emerging issues, and conceptual developments in hospitality and tourism research Manuscripts submitted to the journal must demonstrate a clear relevance to hospitality and tourism studies, employ appropriate research methods, and contribute theoretically and/or empirically to the field.
