SynOpen publishes research on synthetic chemistry, focusing on the development of novel synthetic methodologies, the synthesis of new chemical entities, and the exploration of their applications. Recent articles highlight advancements in catalytic reactions, including palladium-catalyzed hydrogenation and copper-catalyzed oxidation/dehydrogenation, as well as photoelectrocatalytic and electrochemical methods for C-H bond functionalization and alcohol oxidation. The journal also features research on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, such as pyrazolotriazines and quinazolines, with potential pharmaceutical applications, and the development of new precursors for carbene and nitrene chemistry.
