Aims & Scope

Open Research Africa publishes scholarly articles and other research outputs (e.g. posters, slides and documents), reporting basic scientific, scholarly, translational and clinical research across the physical and life sciences, engineering, medicine, social sciences and humanities. Submission to Open Research Africa is open to all researchers based in Africa. To be eligible to publish, an article must have at least one Africa-based author. Outputs of research funded by, or with at least one author affiliated to one of our partners, will have their APCs covered by that partner. See details of our partners here . All articles benefit from rapid publication, transparent peer review and editorial guidance on making all source data openly available. Open Research Africa operates under a continuous publication schedule.
