Aims & Scope

About the Journal Purpose of the Publication The purpose of the scientific journal “Plant Varieties Studying and Protection” is to highlight and disseminate the results of experimental and applied research on current issues of variety studying and variety science of cultivated plants, plant breeding and seed production, biotechnology and biosafety, crop production, agroengineering, as well as the protection of plant variety rights. The publication aims to create a scientific space for the development of agricultural science and practice, dissemination of innovative solutions, and ensuring the integration of Ukrainian research into the international scientific context. Main Objectives of the Publication Publication of research results – ensuring access to materials of experimental and applied scientific works in the field of variety studying, plant breeding, seed production, biotechnology, biosafety, agroengineering, and protection of plant variety rights. Exchange of scientific ideas and methodology – dissemination of modern approaches to conducting research, discussion of practical achievements, and implementation of innovative technologies in production. Information space for discussions – discussion of new theories, methods, and research results, promotion of the development of critical thinking and scientific debate. Promotion of scientific cooperation – establishing creative links between scientific and industrial teams, involving scientists and specialists from various institutions in cooperation to solve current problems of agricultural science and practice. We see our task in forming a scientific community that unites scientists, practitioners, and experts in order to solve current problems of the agricultural sector and ensure sustainable development Field and Scope The scientific and practical journal “Plant Varieties Studying and Protection” publishes experimental and review articles that have not been previously published and are not under consideration
