Aims & Scope
Science Heritage Journal (GWS) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed publication that spans the full breadth of life sciences. It serves as a global platform for the dissemination of research across the entire spectrum of biology. GWS accepts a variety of article types, including original research, reviews, rapid communications, data notes, and commentaries. The journal welcomes submissions of both positive and negative results, as well as replication studies. Proposals for themed collections are also encouraged. GWS supports the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and actively promotes research aligned with its Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), Goal 14 (Life Below Water), and Goal 15 (Life on Land). GWS welcome submissions providing insights or data related to any, or multiple, of the following sections: Agricultural and Plant Sciences – encompassing agriculture, crop science, and plant biology Aquatic and Marine Biology – including aquaculture and marine ecosystems Molecular and Cellular Biology – covering biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology Biotechnology and Bioengineering – focusing on innovative technologies and applications in biological systems Computational and Systems Biology – including bioinformatics, computational life sciences, and systems biology Genetics and Genomics – from classical genetics to modern genomic and epigenomic studies Microbiology and Infectious Diseases – involving the study of microorganisms and their health impacts Pharmacology and Therapeutics – including pharmaceutics, drug discovery, and translational medicine Environmental Health and Toxicology – examining environmental factors affecting biological systems Cancer Biology – exploring molecular mechanisms, diagnostics, and therapies Epidemiology and Public Health – with a focus on population-level health data and trends Physiology and Biomedical Sciences – including translational physiology and related biomedical research
