Aims & Scope
Antec: Revista Peruana de Investigación Musical is an interdisciplinary journal with an integrating vision aimed at understanding the multiple relationships between the musical profession, diverse fields of knowledge, and human behavior. The journal welcomes academic research papers that engage with various theoretical, methodological, and practical perspectives linked to musical practice, favoring a plurality of approaches, critical reflection, and scientific innovation. It aims to strengthen scientific production, promote knowledge exchange, and foster dialogue among researchers, faculty, students, and specialists in related disciplines. It also seeks to contribute to the understanding of musical phenomena in their historical, social, cultural, and artistic dimensions, recognizing music as an expression of identity, memory, and cultural heritage.
