Aims & Scope

The JAFF publishes works in the fields of Pharmaceutical Assistance, Health Technology Assessment and Pharmacoeconomics. In the field of Pharmaceutical Assistance, issues involving the areas of Pharmaceutical Assistance Policy, access to medicines, rational use of medicines, implementation of new services, monitoring and evaluation, financing, management and clinical protocols are included. Those related to Hospital Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Care, Pharmacovigilance and Medication Errors are also included. In the field of Health Technology Assessment, issues related to the evaluation and management of technologies, particularly regarding efficacy, effectiveness, real-world data and emerging technologies, are included. In the field of Pharmacoeconomics, issues related to economic evaluations including studies on the cost of diseases, cost analysis, cost-consequence analysis, cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-benefit, cost-minimization and budget impact and financing studies are included.
