Aims & Scope

Jurnal Ilmiah Dunia Hukum (JIDH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that provides a global platform for the exchange of innovative research and critical discourse in the field of legal studies. The journal is published periodically to promote interdisciplinary scholarship and foster intellectual dialogue among researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and legal scholars across the world, particularly those focusing on developing countries. JIDH aims to advance the understanding of law and governance from both theoretical and practical perspectives. It emphasizes comparative, empirical, and normative research that addresses contemporary legal issues, justice reform, and the evolution of legal systems in a globalized context. The journal welcomes original research articles, case studies, legal commentaries, and book reviews that explore a broad range of legal areas, including but not limited to: Civil Law and Criminal Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Customary and Indigenous Law, Religious Jurisprudence, International and Transnational Law, Human Rights and Civil Liberties, Environmental and Sustainable Development Law, Legal Pluralism and Governance JIDH encourages submissions that provide comparative insights, critical analysis, and policy-oriented perspectives to contribute to the global discourse on law, justice, and human rights.
