Aims & Scope
Studi Veronesi publishes studies dedicated to the Veronese territory in the form of miscellanies; it provides open access to its contents, believing that making research freely available to the public improves the global exchange of knowledge. The journal hosts original essays and editions of sources in the sections Interventi, Antichità, Storia, Arte e Architettura, Lettere e Discipline dello Spettacolo, with lengths between 15,000 and 40,000 characters (including spaces, notes, and bibliography). The Segnalazioni e recensioni section hosts contributions between 5,000 and 15,000 characters. The Interventi section hosts original essays on topics concerning cultural heritage policies and Open Access in the dimension of territorial studies, particularly on the Veronese territory. The Antichità section hosts original contributions focused on specific themes of Archaeology, Topography, and History of Antiquity of the Veronese territory. The Storia section hosts original contributions focused on specific themes of History of the Veronese territory, from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age. The Arte e Architettura section hosts original contributions focused on specific themes of History of Art and Architecture of the Veronese territory, from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age. The Lettere e Discipline dello Spettacolo section hosts original contributions focused on specific themes of History of Literature, Music, and Theatre of the Veronese territory, from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age. The Segnalazioni e Recensioni section hosts notes on publications related to the Veronese territory, as well as reviews and bibliographic surveys.
