Aims & Scope

Journal of Economics and Allied Research (JEAR) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published by the Centre for Economics and Allied Research, Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka in collaboration with the K-Injo Publishing Limited. It accepts research in mainstream economics, environment, health, economics geography, social and cultural issues, petroleum and energy economics, political economy, and public policy. It publishes articles quarterly (March, June, September, and December) with the possibility of additional publications based on submissions and editorial board's decision. The journal welcomes cross-sectional, cross country, time series, and panel studies and prioritizes articles addressing current economic problems with specific policy relevance for faster acceptance. All areas of mainstream economics as well as other areas such as environment, health, economics geography, social and cultural issues, petroleum and energy economics, political economy and public policy.
