Aims & Scope

Journal of Orthopedic and Spine Trauma (JOST)is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal, affiliated with the Persian Orthopedic Trauma Association (POTA) and Orthopedic Department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).JOSTcovers clinical, translational, and basic science research in orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, trauma, and related musculoskeletal disciplines. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, mini-reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, educational articles, commentaries, letters, technical notes, and case reports. The journal encourages submissions related to the following fields: Traumatologic Surgery;Spine and Spinal Deformities;Joint Replacement;Sports Medicine;Paediatric Orthopaedics;Arthroscopy;Knee Surgery;Hip Surgery;Shoulder Surgery;Hand surgery/Microsurgery;Foot and Ankle Surgery;Musculoskeletal Tumor Management;Neuromuscular Diseases Management;Orthopaedic Rehabilitation. The journal places particular emphasis on innovative research addressing regional and international challenges in orthopedic and spine trauma, while ensuring rapid, rigorous, and transparent editorial processing and immediate open access to published articles.
