Aims & Scope
The purpose of the journal is to support the development of innovative, fundamental and applied research in mining and geological, technical and economic sciences, to promote the achieved results in the national and international scientific, educational and economic space; to improve the quality of training of mining engineers for the mining industry and development of the mineral resources complex in accordance with the Russian state strategy and global trends in the development of science and higher professional education. The Journal of Mining Institute is one of the oldest leading Russian and international peer-reviewed periodicals, in which authors from all over the world publish results of fundamental and applied research in the field of Earth Sciences. The purpose of the Journal of Mining Institute is to create a platform for open scientific polemic, research on sustainable management of global natural resources and development of relevant technologies for industrial implementation. Preference is given to the articles describing theoretical, observational and experimental studies that have cross-cutting and interdisciplinary aspects on the following topics at the field, landscape, regional or global level. The target audience of the Journal of Mining Institute includes representatives of the expert and scientific community, academics, postgraduate students and mining engineers.
