Aims & Scope

The initiative to establishPrzegląd Konstytucyjnyarose within the group of persons who, until March 2016, formed the Editorial Committee ofPrzegląd Sejmowy. After the Committee was dissolved by the authorities of the Chancellery of the Sejm, we considered it justified to continue our activity consisting in publishing an academic journal that should serve as an important centre of Polish constitutional thought. They are of significant importance at the international level. The texts published inPrzegląd Konstytucyjnyshould be of interest to scholars and practitioners from other countries. In addition to classical questions of constitutional law, we also intend to address issues that are the focus of particular branches of law, the philosophy of law, and the theory of the state and law, insofar as they relate to broadly understood constitutional law. We wish all essential problems of contemporary constitutionalism to be discussed in the journal. We began our activity during a period of deep constitutional crisis in Poland. The first issue ofPrzegląd Konstytucyjnywas devo
