Aims & Scope

Blockchain in Healthcare Today (BHTY) is a leading international, peer reviewed scholarly journal publishing original research and critical reviews on decentralized and platform based digital infrastructures in healthcare and life sciences. The journal emphasizes theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions that advance healthcare informatics, distributed systems engineering, and data governance. Fields of interest include blockchain and distributed ledger technologies in healthcare; decentralized and artificial intelligence systems; interoperability and health data exchange; privacy preserving computation and cryptographic methods; clinical trials infrastructure and decentralized research coordination (DeSci); healthcare supply chain and provenance systems; tokenized incentive, payment, and funding mechanisms; regulatory, ethical, and policy frameworks for decentralized health systems; and rigorous evaluations of system performance, adoption, limitations, and failures.
