Aims & Scope
ES Energy and Environment (ESEE) is a peer-reviewed open access international journal for the publication of high quality, ground-breaking research from across all areas of Energy harvesting, conversion and storage, Fossil fuel (Coal, Petroleum, Natural gas, etc.), Alternative fuel (Solar, Wind, Nuclear, Hydro, Geothermal, Biofuel, Hydrogen, Hydrocarbon, etc.) technologies, especially biomass derived fuels, charcoal and value-added chemicals; Integrated energy units (Capacitors, Batteries, Supercapacitors, Fuel Cells, Solar Cells, Triboelectric generator, piezoelectric generator, thermoelectric, moisture electric generator, including self-powered devices, etc.) for high efficiency of energies; Advanced materials (Electrode, Electrolyte, Membrane, Interconnectors, etc.) development for energy units and devices; Novel catalysts for various energy related processes such as water splitting, syn gas reforming, ammonia reduction, green hydrogen, sustainable energy, etc.; as well as for the publication of significant scientific results from the development of sustainable materials; life cycle assessment; recycling; prevention and removal of various pollutants (in water, air and soil); CO 2 reduction; SO x and NO x removal; catalytic convertors; Municipal solid waste; Marine waste; Nuclear waste/radiation; Pollutions from biomaterials/bio-organism; various radiations such as X-rays, Electromagnetic wave, etc.; Sound shielding; Sustainable construction and materials (such as phase change materials, thermoelectric, cooling ang heating, etc.). Advanced processes and novel materials for the above energy and environment-related research are welcome. Advanced technologies and devices for diagnosing or sensing pollutants. We strongly encourage the submission of applications of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Deep Learning, Big data, etc., for energy and environment-related studies. Circular economy, Energy policy and legislation are also welcome. New pollution caused by germs, bacteria, viruses, and cancerous cells has emerged, such as COVID. All kinds of pandemic studies, such as masks, filtration, drug delivery, etc., are particularly welcome. Four Volumes per year will be published.
