Aims & Scope

TheJournal of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology(JGAR), a peer reviewed publication founded in 2018, is theofficial journalof theIndian Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology. The society was formed on the 4thof September 2016 and registered on the 7thof December 2016. ISGAR aims at improving diagnostic and therapeutic skills in abdominal radiology by providing a common platform of interaction to develop best practice guidelines through educational and research activities and interdisciplinary collaboration for improving patient care. JGARaims to be at the forefront of abdominal imaging, affirming classic and proven diagnostic pathways while disrupting and dismantling misconceptions that have stood undisputed for decades. The process of editorial recruitment and duties, review, and ethical conformity is currently being established from white paper guidelines issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the WHO. This journal is published under the Creative Commons license CC BY (Attribution) since December 2018. The copyright of the content remains with the author(s). The journal requires that authors follow the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals.
