Aims & Scope
International Journal of Horticultural Science and Technology (Int. J. Hortic. Sci. Technol) is an international open access journal publishing research related to horticultural crops. Original research and reviews concerned with the latest developments and state-of-the-art research for fruits, vegetables, ornamentals and medicinal plants have the potential to be published. Papers in the field of: ecology, physiology, biochemistry, greenhouse production, micropropagation, soil science, breeding, phytopathology and molecular biology of horticultural plants . Basic molecular studies without direct application in horticulture are not considered for review process and publication. Technical aspects of horticulture (engineering, crop processing, storage, transport etc.) can be processed for publication provided that they focus on the living products. All biological and modeling aspects of greenhouse production are suitable for publication in IJHST. Papers on biological and technological postharvest research focusing on postharvest storage, treatments and mechanisms, quality evaluation, packaging, handling and distribution of fresh horticultural crops are considered for publication.
