Aims & Scope

Algebraic Combinatorics is dedicated to publishing high-quality papers in which algebra and combinatorics interact in interesting ways. There are no limitations on the kind of algebra or combinatorics: the algebra involved could be commutative algebra, group theory, representation theory, algebraic geometry, linear algebra, Galois theory, associative or Lie algebras, among other possibilities. The combinatorics could be enumerative, coding theory, root systems, design theory, graph theory, incidence geometry or other topics. The key requirement is not a particular subject matter, but rather the active interplay between combinatorics and algebra.

Frequently asked questions about Algebraic Combinatorics

Is Algebraic Combinatorics a predatory journal?

PubScope has no integrity flags on record for Algebraic Combinatorics: it is indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, DOAJ, and is not on DOAJ's withdrawn list. Its PubScope Trust Score is 96/100. Indexing is a transparency signal, not a guarantee β€” always confirm fit and policies before submitting.

What is the impact factor of Algebraic Combinatorics?

Algebraic Combinatorics is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, so Clarivate publishes an official Journal Impact Factor for it (since the 2023 Journal Citation Reports, every Core Collection journal β€” including Arts & Humanities and Emerging Sources titles β€” receives one). PubScope links to Clarivate's official source rather than reprinting the number, which can be out of date. Its open 2-year mean citedness is 0.90.

Is Algebraic Combinatorics indexed in Scopus and Web of Science?
