Aims & Scope
JQSH aims to help healthcare professionals improve their practice by publishing quality and safety improvement outcomes in various disciplines, environments, and countries. JQSH is indexed by PubMed Central (PMC), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scopus, and Crossref. Global Journal on Quality and Safety in Healthcare (JQSH) ( jqsh.org ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that is published quarterly by the Innovative Healthcare Institute (Cincinnati, OH, USA) ( innovativehci.com ). JQSH aims to help healthcare providers and support staff improve their practice by publishing evidence from real-world examples of quality and safety improvement outcomes in various disciplines, environments, and countries. Our readership includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, quality improvement staff, healthcare administrators, allied health professionals, and others. The scope of the Journal includes topics related to healthcare quality and safety according to the six domains of quality improvement (safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable) as well as system thinking, value-based healthcare, leadership and management, health economic guidelines, evidence-based medicine, and implementation sciences. The Journal publishes original research, quality improvement projects, systematic and narrative reviews of the literature, brief reports, health policy analyses and perspectives, learning corner articles, invited editorials and commentaries, and more.
