Aims & Scope

The Review of Socio-Economic Research and Development Studies (ReSERDS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and applied multidisciplinary journal that publishes scientific articles and contemporary research findings of high scholarly merit in socio-economics and development studies around the world. It particularly values contribution that highlight local context in the Philippines especially in the Visayas areas while drawing lessons that have international or regional relevance. It welcomes submissions from scholars and practitioners across diverse context around the world especially those studies focusing from the Global South thereby fostering comparative perspectives, multidisciplinary dialogue and shared insights on socio-economics and development challenges. ReSERDS accepts original research articles and research briefs. Research articles are longer and contain more technical information while research briefs are relatively shorter and have less technical information but contain substantive information intended for decision-makers, managers, or policymakers. ReSERDS aims to serve as an integrating platform for researchers, policy-makers, practitioners, managers, educators, students and other relevant stakeholders who are interested in socio-economics and development studies. It is an open access journal advocating for free exchange of scholarly works and ideas covering wide range of audience.
