Aims & Scope
The journal "Ukrainian Journal of Library Science and Information Sciences" aims to develop theoretical-methodological and applied knowledge in the field of information, library, and archival science by publishing original peer-reviewed research characterized by scientific novelty and practical significance. Important principles of activity include adherence to academic integrity and promotion of the integration of Ukrainian science into the international scientific communication space. The main tasks of the publication are to form an authoritative scientific communication environment, support innovative and interdisciplinary research, integrate the Ukrainian scientific community into the global space, implement international standards of editorial ethics, and improve the quality of education and professional practice. The journal also provides a platform for testing and disseminating research results in the fields of library science, book science, archival science, document science, and information technologies, contributes to the development of socio-cultural communication and the implementation of innovations in the practice of information and library activities. The structure of the publication includes the following main sections: "Theoretical and Applied Aspects of the Information Space Functioning"; "The Library in the Digital Environment"; "Library and Archival Practice: Information and Sociocultural Aspects"; "Library and Information Education"; "Archival Science and Practice in the Conditions of Martial Law in Ukraine". The journal was founded in 2018 for specialists in the library and information sphere, scientists, university teachers, doctoral students, graduate students, masters, and everyone who researches theoretical and applied aspects in the field of social communications, information and communication technologies, and library, information, and archival affairs.
