Aims & Scope
The scope of UCJLL encompasses a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to: Theoretical and applied linguistics Sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and language acquisition Discourse analysis and stylistics Comparative and world literature Literary theory and criticism Language teaching and pedagogy Indigenous and regional languages and literatures Interdisciplinary studies linking language, literature, and culture JLL welcomes original research articles, critical essays, review articles, and book reviews that reflect scholarly rigor and contribute to contemporary debates in linguistics and literary studies. Submissions that engage with underrepresented languages, cultures, and literary traditions—particularly those relevant to the region and beyond—are especially encouraged. The journal aspires to foster intellectual dialogue across disciplines and borders and to serve as a resource for both seasoned academics and emerging scholars.
