KPI Science News – Journal of Systems and Polytechnic Engineering Systems Engineering , which is also called the Systems Methodology of the XXI Century (on Derek Hitchins). Systems engineering methodology and standards are developed and maintained by: - the Seventh Subcommittee of the Joint Technical Committee of the International Standard Organization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Software and Systems Engineering (ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7); - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); - International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE); - other international organizations and world-class corporations. Polytechnic Engineering is a category that formalizes the use of a system of scientific and technical tools of various engineering disciplines for the production of High tech developments at all stages of the life cycle of such developments. Polytechnic Engineering is an interdisciplinary research and development activity aimed at modelling, designing and implementing theoretical and applied engineering solutions based on the systems engineering methodology.
