Population Medicine is a double-blind peer-reviewed open access online scientific journal that encompasses all aspects of population, preventive and public health research. The journal's scope encompasses all aspects of population health, with a strong focus on domains such as epidemiology and disease burden (studies on the distribution, determinants, and control of diseases, including research on mortality, causes of death, and the prevalence of specific conditions); health behavior and lifestyle factors (population-level behaviors, substance use, and mental health); global and specific public health challenges (investigations into public health events and public health interventions) and health systems, policy, and deliver y (i.e. research focused on improving health care systems and health policy). The journal is also interested in secondary dataset analyses that can provide real world evidence.
