Aims & Scope
The International Scientific Review for Contemporary Archival Theory and Practice =ATLANTI +, is published by the International Institute for Archival Science Trieste/ Italy - Maribor/Slovenia (IIAS - since 1985) and Alma Mater Europaea - European Centre Maribor . ATLANTI + is being published since the year 2019, separate from the international review for modern archival theory and practice ATLANTI. In 2018, the General Assembly of IIAS decided that the purpose of ATLANTI + is to publish the established, individual scientific research papers, which were presented at the annual International Archival Day Conference and were peer reviewed (double-blind peer review) as Original Scientific Articles (typology 1.01). The journal exclusively publishes English articles only. The first ATLANTI + was published in 2019 with the vol. 29, as it represents the link to the International Archival Day Conference. Archival Science is an independent academic multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary science that requires a clear positioning in global archival research. With the publication of individual research results in English, with the prescribed review procedures, these results become scientifically relevant. The aim of the ATLANTI + journal is to maintain a high level of scientific research, mainly because it represents the multidisciplinary archival science.
