Aims & Scope
The Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal welcomes original contributions on all aspects of diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism. With the rising rates of diabetes across the world, the journal provides a platform for global communication and scientific exchange for all researchers and clinicians dealing with aspects of this disease. This open access journal focuses on the publication of papers on morphological, biochemical, physiological, pathophysiological, and clinical aspects of research on diabetes and metabolism. In addition to research articles, the Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal also publishes review articles, case reports, reviews, meta-analyses, letters, editorials, and commentaries. This diamond open-access journal (renamed in 2020, formerly known as the International Journal of Diabetes and Metabolism, 1995-) is owned by the Dubai Health Authority and publishes four issues per year. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review, our rigorous evaluation process by highly experienced specialists ensuring the quality of every article published in the Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal. The journal is listed in DOAJ and Google Scholar. We welcome research from researchers, academics, and medical practitioners at every stage of their career and provide a global showcase for high impact research in the fields of diabetes and endocrinology, with a particular emphasis on the Gulf region.
