MOTBIT studies the translation and interpretation similarities and differences that come out of various translations of the Bible into the indigenous languages of people. God understands and speaks human languages; thus, scholars can theologize in their languages. Journal of Mother-Tongue Biblical Hermeneutics and Theology (MOTBIT) is an academic bulletin for the dissemination of research outcomes on the following research themes: Biblical Interpretation Bible Translation Mother Tongue Theology Linguistics Biblical Theology.
