Aims & Scope

Kriminologie – Das Online-Journal | Criminology – The Online Journal is the first pure open access journal in the field of criminology initiated in Germany and one of only a few of its kind worldwide. It offers all the advantages of such a format: easy availability, widest possible distribution, and free publication and reading. The bilingual journal, which appears every three months, offers space for contributions from all sub-areas of criminology and all parts of the world. To ensure scientific quality, a double-blind peer-review process is carried out.
