Aims & Scope

An international journal open to scientists, clinicians, and policymakers — Free of charge for authors and readers We welcome contributions that enhance and illuminate relevant clinical practice, science, and policy about the etiology, prevention, (risk) assessment, treatment, and management of individuals who have committed sexual offenses or are at risk of doing so. Aspects of legal, psychological, and somatic consequences of sexual offending are also of interest for our readership. Clinicians, practitioners, and academics are invited to submit qualitative or quantitative research articles, reviews, meta-analyses, brief research notes/articles, and (clinical) case reports/studies. We value the importance of open science practices fully and would like to contribute to a better understanding and implementation of these in the field of sex research and forensic sciences.
