Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche · Italy · Est. 2019
Aims & Scope
The RIID publishes contributions on legal informatics and IT law – two scientific fields that intersect and overlap – dedicated to studies and critical analyses on both the practical problems of information and communication technologies in the field of law, and on the regulation of the development of IT and telematics in contemporary societies. The Journal welcomes essays on legal informatics – on topics such as, for example, automated legal documentation, legal information systems, digital tools for public administration and legal professions, artificial intelligence techniques and knowledge representation applied to law, e-justice – and on IT law, both public law (e.g., Internet and protection of fundamental rights; Internet governance; use of information technologies in the public sector, etc.) and private law (e.g., legal regime of social networks; contracts concerning telematic goods and services; personal data protection, etc.). It hosts essays in Italian and in the main foreign languages such as French, English, Portuguese, Spanish and German.
