Aims & Scope
Journal of Contemporary Society Education (JCSE) is a journal that provides an avenue to scholars, researchers, policy analysts, think tank groups, as well as the civil society community who interrogate the changing dynamics of education within contemporary African societies. Education and health have grown in Africa and needs to be continuously studied; both individually and as they relate to one another. This point, in many respect, led to the inauguration of this journal. The Journal of Contemporary Society & Education (JCSE) was established to fill the need to generate context-sensitive, theoretically informed, and empirically grounded scholarship that can guide educational practice and policy, especially in societies undergoing rapid demographic, technological, and governance changes. JCSE is recognised by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and appears on the DHET accreditation list.
